Backlog report, updated 14 October 2026. Patch 13.01 made Iso’s weapon equip instant after unequipping Double Tap and extended Yoru’s Gatecrash beacon from 15 to 20 seconds. Yoru’s clone also began carrying his last-equipped weapon. Riot said it would start penalising confirmed rank manipulation, with possible account suspension and rank or reward reversions. The Outlaw received a slightly longer recovery after its first shot. Patch 13.02 then raised Phoenix’s Run It Back cost from six to seven ultimate points, added Split, Corrode and Lotus to Retake, and delayed the planned AROS: Replication mode.
The TGN read
The Yoru change is small on paper but big in timing: five more seconds creates another rotation fake or forces a defender to spend longer respecting a threat. Phoenix’s extra point asks for better ult discipline. The anti-manipulation work matters more than either agent tweak if it makes ranked results trustworthy. My sarcastic take is that “just play your real rank” should not be the controversial design philosophy of the century.
These are conclusions from the patch notes, not hands-on measurements. I would like to test whether Yoru’s longer beacon creates real options or just more elaborate ways to lose a round.
