Backlog report, updated 14 October 2026. The 13 October patch starts Act 6 with a meaningful map question: are you actually good on your favourite map? Map Rating now assigns a private 0–500 rating and C–S grade from win rates, attack and defence results, and Performance Score. It starts fresh with this patch and is available in Competitive and Premier. Riot also tuned Performance Score, changed Corrode’s defender rotation paths and mid cover, and adjusted its A plant zone. Bind and Corrode entered Competitive and Deathmatch while Ascent and Split left.
Riot published Act 5 penalty numbers in the notes, including more than 171,000 cheater bans and 76,000 rank-manipulation bans during the cited detection period. Those are Riot’s reported figures, not my independent audit. The notes also say Range in Queue was disabled while a bug was being tested, so that September feature should not be advertised as reliably available yet.
The TGN read
Map Rating is the useful part if it exposes a bad habit rather than becoming another badge to flex. A weak defender win rate on Corrode is a practice plan. A letter grade with no change in behaviour is just decorative suffering. The faster defender routes should make retakes less punishing; whether they make mid too comfortable is a question for actual matches. I want to test Corrode live before calling it fixed.
