Backlog report, updated 14 October 2026. Global Esports beat Nongshim RedForce 3–2 in the Pacific Stage 2 final on 6 September. Riot’s schedule also records GE beating T1 3–1 in the lower final the previous day. This stage added four Challenger representatives to the play-in path, including Sharper, ONSIDE, Xipto and QT DIG∞, which made the route to the final wider and less predictable.
The TGN read
GE’s back-to-back high-pressure series are the strategic story. A team can look brilliant for a best-of-three; winning a lower final and then a five-map championship asks for deeper preparation, recovery and composure. Nongshim pushed them the whole way, so calling the final a routine GE coronation would be ridiculous. Pacific’s depth is often treated as a list of flashy names. This bracket showed why the depth matters: every team that reaches the top has to solve a different kind of fight.
